Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Bidding Beats Fixed Prices

Fixed-price stores can't adapt to your schedule, region, or preferred queue. On GameTasker, Taskers bid on your Service Medal job, so you compare real profiles, win rates, and reviews before picking. You save up to 30% and keep control from start to finish.

Pick the Right Tasker

Compare each bid by CS2 role, map pool, Premier CS Rating or Faceit level, ping to your server, and verified reviews. A Tasker with a 60%+ win rate on your preferred maps and a clean profile history will finish your Service Medal grind faster and with fewer headaches.

Prep Before You Post

  • Set your profile to public and note your CS2 Profile Rank and XP progress so Taskers can estimate the grind.
  • Tell the Tasker your server region (NA, EU, etc.) and preferred modes: Premier, Competitive, or Wingman.
  • Decide if you want Solo Pilot (account sharing) or Duo Queue, and confirm you can provide Steam Guard codes when needed.

Service details

How the Farming Works

Your Tasker earns XP in official CS2 matchmaking to push your Profile Rank toward the current-year Service Medal. They connect from your region, respect your offline preference, and can play solo or duo. You track progress and confirm the medal when it appears.

  • Region-appropriate connection: Tasker uses your selected server (NA, EU, etc.) to keep ping realistic.
  • Privacy: set offline or appear offline where supported; Tasker avoids friends-list spam and unnecessary profile changes.
  • Solo vs Duo: pick Solo Pilot (account sharing) for full coverage or Duo Queue if you want to play some matches.

Payment Escrow Protection

Escrow and Account Safety

Your payment sits in GameTasker escrow until you verify the current-year Service Medal on your CS2 profile. Taskers never touch your inventory, skins, or Steam Wallet funds—only the XP grind. If something goes wrong, open a dispute and support reviews the order with you.

  • Held funds: payment stays in escrow and is released only after you confirm the medal is on your profile.
  • Inventory protection: Taskers do not trade, open cases, or spend your Steam Wallet—your skins and funds stay untouched.
  • Dispute resolution: if progress stalls or the medal doesn't appear, open a dispute and GameTasker support steps in.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

How long does it take to earn the current-year Service Medal?

It depends on your starting Profile Rank and weekly XP gains. A fresh account can take longer than one already near Rank 40. Taskers bid with their own time estimates, so you can compare before hiring.

Do I have to share my Steam account?

No. You can choose Duo Queue and play alongside the Tasker, or pick Solo Pilot if you want it done offline. Solo Pilot requires account access via Steam Guard codes, and you can change your password afterward.

Will you use cheats or third-party tools?

No. Service Medal farming is done in official CS2 matchmaking without cheats, scripts, or external software. That keeps your account safer and avoids VAC flags.

What if the Tasker doesn't finish the medal?

Your payment stays in escrow until you confirm the medal on your profile. If progress stalls, open a dispute and GameTasker support will step in to resolve it.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a farmer and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if farmer fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another farmer.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
