Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Bidding Beats Fixed Prices

Fixed-price stores lock you into one rate. On GameTasker, multiple taskers bid for your Lion MMR boost, so you pick based on their Dota 2 profile: hero win rate, server, and reviews. That competition drives prices down — you can save up to 30%.

Choose by Real Dota 2 Metrics

Don't just pick the lowest bid. Review each tasker's Lion win rate, overall MMR, server region (US East, EU West, etc.), and customer reviews. A high win rate on Lion and experience in your bracket matters more than a flashy profile.

Get Your Account Ready

  • Provide your current MMR and target, plus behavior score and preferred server region so taskers can bid accurately.
  • List your hero pool and preferred roles (mid Lion, support, etc.) and mention if you want solo or duo queue.
  • For pilot boosts, enable Steam Guard and set your profile to private; for duo, just be online at agreed times.

Service details

How Your Lion MMR Boost Works

After posting, taskers bid. You pick based on profile. Agree on format: pilot (they play your account) or duo queue (you play together). The tasker connects to your server to keep ping low and avoid behavior score drops. Progress is tracked via MMR gain.

  • Tasker will match your server region (e.g., US East, EU West) and use a VPN if needed to maintain low ping and stable connection.
  • For pilot boosts, tasker can appear offline on Steam and set profile to private to keep your boost discreet from friends.
  • Choose solo boost for fastest climb or duo queue to play alongside the tasker and learn Lion mechanics.

Payment Escrow Protection

Safe and Secure Boosting

Your payment is held in escrow by GameTasker until you confirm the MMR goal is reached. Taskers are prohibited from touching your inventory, Steam wallet, or any items. If anything goes wrong, our dispute team reviews chat logs and match history to resolve fairly.

  • Payment is held in escrow and released only after you verify the MMR gain; no upfront risk to you.
  • Taskers must never touch your Steam inventory, items, or wallet; any violation leads to immediate ban and refund.
  • If a dispute arises, GameTasker support reviews match history and chat to mediate a fair solution.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

Can I get banned for MMR boosting in Dota 2?

Valve doesn't explicitly ban boosting, but it's a gray area. Our taskers use safe practices: matching server region, offline mode for pilot, and no third-party software. We can't guarantee zero risk, but we prioritize account safety.

Will my behavior score drop during the boost?

Taskers maintain a positive attitude and avoid reports. They communicate in a friendly manner and never abandon games. Your behavior score should remain stable or improve.

How do you handle Lion-specific hero picks?

Taskers are experienced with Lion and will adapt to your bracket. They can play him mid or support, depending on your team composition and the meta.

What if I want to stop the boost early?

You can cancel anytime. You'll only pay for the MMR gained up to that point, and any remaining escrow is refunded to you.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a booster and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if booster fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another booster.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
