Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Bidding Beats Fixed Prices

Fixed-price stores set one rate and you take it. On GameTasker, taskers compete for your Pos 5 boost, so the market sets the price. Compare profiles, Dota 2 win rates, and past jobs, then pick the player who fits your server and schedule.

How to Pick the Right Pos 5 Tasker

Check the hero pool first: a tasker who spams Crystal Maiden, Witch Doctor, or Warlock in the support role is not the same as a pos 4 playmaker. Look at support win rate, server ping, reviews, and whether they queue solo or with a duo partner.

Before You Post the Order

  • Know your exact MMR and behavior score, since a low behavior score means longer queues and more griefers.
  • Enable Steam Guard and have your Steam credentials, region, and preferred support heroes ready for a pilot order.
  • Decide on selfplay or pilot and your server (EU West, SEA, US East), then set a realistic target like Divine 1.

Service details

How the Boost Runs

The tasker plays your account from the region that matches your server, so matchmaking stays normal and no odd ping spikes give it away. You can stay invisible and appear offline; if you prefer to keep playing yourself, pick selfplay or duo queue instead of a pilot.

  • Pilot orders are played from your server region on the matching client, so queue times and ping look completely normal.
  • Your account can stay set to offline or invisible for the entire order; the tasker never opens chats or friends list.
  • Prefer to climb on your own account? Choose duo queue or selfplay and lane beside a Divine or Immortal support.

Payment Escrow Protection

Funds, Inventory, and Disputes

Your payment sits in escrow and is only released after you confirm the MMR goal is hit. Nothing is taken from your Dota 2 inventory, and Steam items or wallet balance are never part of the deal, so a bad order costs you nothing but a reopened task.

  • Funds stay in escrow until you approve the finished boost; no tasker gets paid for a partial climb.
  • Never trade Dota 2 items, Arcanas, or Steam wallet funds to a tasker; the order price is the whole cost.
  • If the MMR target is missed or the account gets flagged, open a dispute and support reviews the logs before any release.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

Do I have to give up my Steam login?

Only for a pilot order. Choose duo queue or selfplay and you keep your credentials, your items, and full control of the account while a support player lanes with you.

My behavior score is low and queues take forever. Can the boost still run?

Yes, but tell the tasker up front. A low behavior score or low priority status slows matchmaking and can add games, so a realistic quote will account for it.

How many games does 500 MMR actually take?

A ranked win is roughly 25 MMR, so 500 MMR is about 20 wins, more with losses. Taskers quote by games and target, not by a flat MMR figure.

Will the tasker play Pos 5 only, or swap roles?

They play the role you ordered. If you want a specific support hero pool — Crystal Maiden, Warlock, Witch Doctor — say so in the task before bidding.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a booster and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if booster fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another booster.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
