Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Choose Bidding Over Fixed Prices?

Fixed-price stores set the rate; on GameTasker, taskers compete for your Hoodwink MMR boost. Review their profiles, hero win rates, and server pings, then pick the best offer. Bidding drives prices down—saving you up to 30%—while you stay in control.

Pick Your Booster by the Numbers

Don't gamble on a random boost. Check each tasker's Hoodwink win rate, role (support or mid), and overall hero pool. Verify their server ping for your region and read past buyer reviews. A 60%+ win rate on Hoodwink in Divine bracket speaks louder than any sales pitch.

Prep Your Account for the Boost

  • Share your current MMR, target rank, and preferred server region so boosters can bid accurately.
  • Enable Steam Guard and set your Dota 2 profile to offline to keep your account secure during a pilot boost.
  • Clarify if you want a Hoodwink specialist or a generalist, and whether you prefer solo pilot or duo queue.

Service details

How Your Hoodwink Boost Runs

Your assigned booster logs in from a matching region to keep ping low and playstyle authentic. They’ll focus on Hoodwink in your preferred role, whether support or mid. You can track progress via MMR updates, and the job ends when you hit the target.

  • Boosters connect via a VPN or local server matching your region to avoid lag and suspicious activity.
  • Your Dota 2 profile is set to offline, and the booster will not touch your inventory or Steam friends list.
  • Choose solo pilot (booster plays alone) or duo queue (you play together) for a more hands-on experience.

Payment Escrow Protection

Your Payment and Account Are Protected

GameTasker holds your payment in escrow until you confirm the MMR goal is met. If anything goes wrong—like a dropped win rate or unauthorized changes—our dispute team steps in. You never release funds until you’re satisfied.

  • Funds are held securely and only released after you verify the MMR gain on your account.
  • Boosters are prohibited from trading, deleting, or modifying your items, Steam wallet, or Dota 2 cosmetics.
  • Open a dispute within 72 hours if the service deviates from the agreed terms; our team mediates fairly.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

Is MMR boosting on Hoodwink safe for my account?

We use region-matched VPNs and set your profile to offline to reduce detection risk. While no method is 100% risk-free, our boosters have completed thousands of jobs without bans. We also avoid using cheats or scripts.

How long does a Hoodwink boost take?

It depends on your current MMR, target, and behavior score. Typically, a 500 MMR boost takes 3–5 days. Your booster will provide daily updates, and you can track progress through your MMR history.

Will the booster only play Hoodwink?

Yes, if you hire a Hoodwink specialist. In rare cases, they may swap to another hero to counter a bad draft, but the focus stays on Hoodwink to keep your win rate high. You can specify your preference in the order.

What if my behavior score is low?

Low behavior score can lead to longer queues and toxic teammates. We recommend improving it first, but many boosters can still climb. Some offer behavior score repair as an add-on—ask your tasker during bidding.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a booster and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if booster fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another booster.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
