Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Bidding Beats Fixed Prices

Fixed-price boosting stores set the rate, not the market. On GameTasker, taskers compete for your Dota 2 order, so you compare profiles, Death Prophet win rates, server regions, and reviews before picking. You see the real price and skill, not a one-size-fits-all package.

How to Pick Your Death Prophet Tasker

Check each tasker's Death Prophet win rate, role preference (mid or offlane), hero pool depth, and average ping on your server. Read reviews for pilot or duo queue, behavior score handling, and communication. Pick the bid that matches your MMR bracket, region, and schedule.

Prep Before You Post

  • Note your exact MMR, behavior score, and server region so taskers can bid accurately.
  • Decide between pilot (account sharing) and duo queue (you play with the booster).
  • Clear low priority and confirm ranked roles are enabled before the boost starts.

Service details

How the Boost Runs

Your Death Prophet boost runs on your terms. Taskers can play solo pilot on your account, or you can duo queue with them on your own. They connect to your server region to keep ping stable, and you agree on offline mode or privacy settings before the first queue.

  • Region check: tasker selects your server (US East/West, EU, SEA) to avoid high ping and matchmaking flags.
  • Privacy: set offline mode or appear offline during pilot boosts; share only what is needed for ranked access.
  • Queue mode: choose solo pilot for your solo MMR, or party/duo queue to play alongside the booster on your account.

Payment Escrow Protection

Your Payment and Account Safety

GameTasker holds your payment in escrow until you confirm the MMR gain. Your Dota 2 inventory, Steam items, and account currency stay untouched. If a tasker misses the goal or breaks rules, you can open a dispute and support steps in.

  • Escrow: funds are released only after you verify the MMR boost and login safely.
  • Inventory protection: taskers never trade, gift, or sell your Steam items, cosmetics, or currency.
  • Dispute resolution: if the climb stalls or rules are broken, support reviews chat, match history, and MMR logs.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

Can I get banned for MMR boosting in Dota 2?

Valve does not explicitly ban solo boosting, but they do penalize cheating, scripters, and bad behavior. Our taskers play legitimately, no scripts or exploits. For extra peace of mind, choose duo queue and keep control of your account.

How long does a Death Prophet MMR boost take?

It depends on MMR range, server, and win rate. A 500 MMR climb with a 60% win rate might take 2–4 days. Taskers include estimated timelines in their bids.

What if Death Prophet is banned or picked?

If Death Prophet is unavailable, the tasker can play another hero from their pool or pause the session. You can specify 'Death Prophet only' or allow a backup hero list.

Can I watch or track the games?

Yes. You can check your MMR and match history on your Dota 2 profile. Duo queue lets you play every game. Pilot boosts may include screenshots or shared tracker updates.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a booster and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if booster fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another booster.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
