Why Bid for Coaching?

Fixed-price coaching stores charge whatever they want. On GameTasker, coaches compete for your Phantom Lancer order, so you get competitive rates—often up to 30% less. Browse their profiles, check hero win rate and reviews, then pick the coach who fits your goals.

How to Choose Your Coach

Check each coach's Phantom Lancer win rate, MMR bracket, and server region (NA, EU, SEA). Look at their hero pool—do they also play counters like Terrorblade or PL? Read reviews from players at your rank. Pick a coach with high ping to your server for smooth sessions.

Before Your Session

  • Have 2-3 recent Phantom Lancer replays ready, including a win and a loss, so the coach can spot patterns.
  • Note your current MMR and behavior score, plus your usual role (safe lane carry or mid) for tailored advice.
  • Set up Discord and a stable mic; screen share works best for live coaching. Test your connection beforehand.

Service details

How the Coaching Works

After you post your request, coaches bid. You pick one and schedule a session. Your coach joins via Discord, you share your screen, and they guide you through live gameplay or replay analysis. They can also spectate your game in Dota 2 client.

  • Region-appropriate connection: pick a coach on your server (NA, EU, SEA) to keep ping low and sessions smooth.
  • Privacy and offline status: you can appear offline in Dota 2 while using Discord, and no account sharing is required.
  • Solo vs party: book a 1-on-1 for focused coaching, or a duo session where the coach joins your party.

Payment Escrow Protection

Safety and Payment

Your payment is held in escrow until you confirm the coaching session happened as agreed. Coaches never ask for your account or items. If something goes wrong, GameTasker support steps in to resolve disputes fairly.

  • Held funds: your payment stays in escrow and is only released after you confirm the session was completed.
  • Inventory protection: never share Steam credentials or items. Coaching is via screen share, no account access needed.
  • Dispute resolution: if the session doesn't match the agreement, open a dispute and GameTasker support will mediate.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

How does a typical Phantom Lancer coaching session work?

You and your coach meet on Discord. You can share your screen live during a game or review a replay together. The coach points out farming patterns, item timings, and decision-making, and you can ask questions in real time.

Can the coach help me with specific matchups, like against Axe or Legion Commander?

Yes. Tell your coach which heroes give you trouble. They'll break down item choices, positioning, and when to fight or split-push, using your own replays for context.

Do I need to share my Dota 2 account or Steam credentials?

No. Coaching is done via Discord screen share or replay review. You never give account access, and your inventory stays safe.

What if I'm Herald or Guardian? Is coaching still worth it?

Absolutely. Coaches adapt to your MMR. They'll focus on fundamentals like last-hitting, map awareness, and illusion micro, which matter at every rank.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a coach and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if coach fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another coach.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
