Helpful Info

Important details before ordering

We gathered selection tips, recommendations, and guarantees in one guide.

Why Bidding Beats Fixed Prices

Fixed-price stores lock you into one coach and one rate. On GameTasker, Dota 2 coaches compete for your 5000 MMR task, so you compare real profiles, MMR, hero win rates, and reviews. Pick the coach who fits your role, server, and schedule — often at a lower price.

Choose by Metrics That Matter

Don't hire blind. Check each tasker's Dota 2 profile: role and hero win rate, typical hero pool, server and ping, reviews, and whether they play your position. A coach with a proven 60% win rate on your heroes beats a random 5k player with no proof.

Prep Before Your Session

  • Queue two or three ranked matches and save Match IDs where you felt lost, tilted, or clearly outplayed.
  • Write down your main role, hero pool, and two specific problems: laning, map movement, item timings, or teamfights.
  • Test Discord voice and screen share, set your server region, and open a replay before the session starts.

Service details

How Your Coaching Session Works

Run the session as replay analysis, live queue coaching, or both. Your coach reviews your matches, builds a practice plan, and explains decisions at the 5000 MMR bracket. Sessions happen over Discord voice or screen share; you stay on your own account, with role and server.

  • Choose a coach from your region or a close server so live queue advice and ping stay practical for your ranked games.
  • Keep your account private: no login needed. Use Steam offline status and Discord screen share for extra privacy.
  • Pick solo replay review, party queue with the coach, or a hybrid session — whichever fits your MMR goals and schedule.

Payment Escrow Protection

Escrow, Inventory, and Disputes

Your money stays in GameTasker escrow until the session is done and you confirm the result. Coaches never need your Steam credentials, so your inventory, Steam Wallet, and rank stay untouched. If the session misses the brief, open a dispute with chat and replay evidence.

  • Funds are held until you mark the session complete, so the coach is paid only after you get the review or live block.
  • Never share Steam login, Steam Guard codes, or API keys. No inventory or currency access is required for coaching.
  • If the coach misses the slot or the session misses the brief, open a dispute; support reviews chat and replay evidence.

Questions before ordering

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers regarding service details, payments, and hiring Taskers.

Do I need to share my Steam account or Match ID?

No account sharing is required. For replay analysis, share selected Match IDs or use Discord screen share. Keep Steam Guard and your login private.

Is this coaching useful if I’m already near 5000 MMR?

Yes. At 5k MMR, gains come from draft choices, lane efficiency, item timings, map movement, and teamfight discipline. The coach targets those leaks instead of basics.

Can the coach queue with me in party queue?

Yes, if your server and schedule match. You stay on your own account, join party queue with the coach, and get live comms. Solo replay review is also available.

What should I prepare for the session?

Bring two or three Match IDs, your role and hero pool, Discord voice, and specific questions about laning, mid-game calls, item builds, or teamfights.

Do I need to share my account login and password?

Not required: many tasks can be completed together in a party without account sharing. If login is required, share credentials only after selecting a coach and use two-factor authentication.

What to do if coach fails to complete the task?

Funds remain protected in escrow until results are verified. If terms are not met, support will help issue a refund or find another coach.

How quickly does work start?

Initial offers usually arrive within minutes. Work begins after you select a Tasker and confirm task terms.

Can I check the price first without ordering?

Yes. Creating a task is free: you receive offers, compare prices, deadlines, and reviews, and pay only after choosing the right Tasker.
